EMT-I with Paramedic Credentialing Potential
Sampson County EMS is currently accepting applications for (15) full-time EMT-I positions.
Applicant should be a high school graduate or equivalent with experience in emergency medical care. Applicant must currently be credentialed as NCOEMS Paramedic or be able to obtain a Paramedic credential by September or October 2006. Fulltime employees work 24 hour shifts on a 9 day rotation. Applicant must possess a valid NC driver’s license and have the ability to deal tactfully with the public. Salary range begins: $28,039 (base salary including fluctuating work week) with a planned Paramedic credentialed salary increase and complete benefit package, which includes County paid health and dental insurance, annual and sick leave, retirement and 401-K County contributions, longevity benefit after 10 years, as well as other benefits.
